At Keene Orthodontic Specialists, we are willing to discuss many options for payment of fees. We feel that financial issues, whenever possible, should not prevent you from receiving the orthodontic treatment you or your family needs.
If it is determined at your first visit that treatment is recommended, or that an orthodontic plan should be developed, the next step is to get more pieces of information (called Diagnostic Records). Payment for the Diagnostic Records and Consultation is due in full at the time of the Records appointment and is not part of the fee for treatment.
When a treatment plan is agreed on, whether it is a comprehensive long-term treatment, or simply an appliance and limited office visits, a financial arrangement is completed prior to the start of the treatment.
Options for financial arrangements
1. Prepayment. Total treatment fees over $2,500.00 that are paid in full at the start of treatment will receive a discount. Should you elect to finance through Orthodontist Fee Plan® (OFP) the prepayment discount does not apply.
2. 25% initial payment and monthly installments. 25% of the treatment fee due at the start of treatment, and the remaining balance paid in monthly installments. (No finance charges.)
3. Extended payment arrangements. Patients desiring no down payment and/or more extended payment arrangements may contact Orthodontist Fee Plan®. OFP is a company that specializes in the financing of orthodontic treatment. Their brochure is available upon request.
4. Automatic credit cards. We can arrange to automatically make charges to your credit or debit card each month.
Dental Insurance
Some patients have dental insurance which covers part of the cost of orthodontic treatment. Please bring in your completed and signed form(s) at the time of your diagnostic records appointment so that we may file the claim for you at the start of treatment.
