How does Invisalign work?

Instead of traditional bands, patients wear a series of clear "aligners" which are removed only for eating and brushing (and VERY special occasions!). About every two weeks, the aligners are changed. With each change, teeth move slightly until the treatment plan designed by Dr. Post is completed, usually taking between nine and fifteen months and twenty to thirty aligners.
